How we handle your information
This policy applies when you browse the Bunyaad website, create or use an account, publish a profile or listing, save or view properties, or contact us.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, and your phone number if you provide one. Account credentials are stored as a password hash rather than as your readable password. If you create or manage a professional profile, listing, or other content, we process the information and files you submit. Messages sent through the contact form include your name, email address, chosen topic, and message; they are saved so our team can respond and may also be emailed to our support address when that service is configured.
Account activity and device data
When you are signed in, Bunyaad records project and property views against your account so you can use your viewed-items history. The site also processes basic request and device information needed to deliver pages, maintain sessions, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service. We do not currently use an analytics tracking pixel on this site.
How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts, display profiles and content, remember preferences, provide saved and viewed-item features, respond to questions, route enquiries you choose to send, maintain security, diagnose issues, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Public profiles and marketplace information
Information you submit for a public broker, brokerage, developer, or listing profile can be viewed by other visitors. Property and project details may also come from developers, agents, public sources, or other data providers. Do not place private or sensitive personal information in public fields. Check your submitted details and contact us if you need help correcting them.
When information is shared
We share information with the professional or organization you choose to contact, to the extent needed to handle your request. We also use service providers for hosting, email delivery, fonts, maps, and other site functions; those providers process information as needed to provide their services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or to establish or defend legal claims. Public profile and listing information is visible as described above.
Cookies and browser storage
Bunyaad uses a server session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember preferences such as theme, currency, language, saved items, and your cookie notice choice. The cookie notice choice is also stored in a browser cookie. These technologies support site functions; the current site does not use analytics tracking cookies. You can clear cookies or browser storage in your browser settings, but this may sign you out or reset preferences and saved items.
Retention and security
We keep account, message, and activity information for as long as it is needed to provide the requested features, manage the relationship, resolve issues, protect the service, and meet legal requirements. We apply safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
You can update some account information in account settings and can ask us to access, correct, delete, or otherwise address personal information through our Contact page by selecting the privacy topic. We may ask you to verify your identity, and some requests may be limited by legal or operational requirements. Where applicable, processing is subject to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and other relevant rules. Read the official UAE legislation.
